After the one year project supported by Kviinatillkviina ,Akwos organized a 2 days meeting with stakeholders from Rubavu and Musanze Districts.

This activity has been planned from the 5th to 7th February to reflect on the activities that took place .
This was done by few slides presenting to them all the activities done for 2018 and what is planned for 2019 for their inputs and brainstormed during group discussions on the way forward .
The outcome of the recommendations will be applied in 2019 for more impact and theory of change.
AKWOS as the stakeholder in Rubavu District, contributed into empowering a woman who was homeless on this international rural woman’s day who lives in Rugerero Sector through providing food supplies.
The community dialogue activity was ideally planned in a way that sectors will visit each other in terms of sharing experiences, knowledge and best practices through debates, but due to COVID-19 pandemic, it was sector based whereby peace clubs formed last year and this year gathered for learning and sharing experience, and reinforce their togetherness…

Community sensitization activity was conducted in ten villages which are :Nyamagumba, Nyagahondo, Umucyo, Kabara, Rushubi, Karurambi, cyitarimwa, Bikuka, Tagaza, Shwemu, located in Rubavu and Musanze district, whereby 25 people who attended a one day workshop on peace building, gender equality, Conflict Resolution and leadership were addressing the community on the theme.
